As well as all the makeovers, careers advice, celebrity appearances,
hairdressing demonstrations and shopping opportunities, there are the runway
shows. The Fashion Page got to see three of the shows - The Contemporary
Designer Classics Show, College Forum Catwalk and the Fashion Theatre Show.The Designer Classics featured top names and labels in British fashion. This year the designers included: Ben de Lisi, Betty Jackson, John Richmond, Janet Fitch, Patrick Cox, Anya Hindmarch, Austin Reed, Country Casuals, Idol, Terence Nolder, and Mulberry. The College Forum Catwalk featured the designs of 2nd and 3rd year students from Britain's schools and colleges of Art and Design. The main feature runway show was the Fashion Theatre Show, this was a huge show but by its very nature it lacked the intimacy of the smaller shows.
