From the magic crystal-blue waters of Capri comes Blumarine, the Italian fashion design company, founded in Carpi, Italy, 1977, by Anna Molinari, chief designer and artistic director. Molinari started her career in the family company as a curator for their prestigious art collection. A few years into the job, however, the young and independent-minded Anna decided to go it alone to create an exclusive line of ready-to-wear garments. Her first catwalk show in was in Milan in1981. Anna Molinari line presented twice a year in Milano Collezioni shows.The stylistic concept of Anna Molinari is very simple: fantasy, passion, curiosity, fascination, and romanticism. Today, Blumarine is one of the biggest names in the Italian fashion industry, synonymous with its unique and complete personal image encompassing casual wear, fragrance, bags, belts, stationery, eye wear, leatherwear and a host of fashion and lifestyle fashion accessories. |
