Anya Hindmarch

(Born 1968) Self-taught handbag designer who launched her business in 1987. Superb craft skills and witty designs have won Hindmarch's work a devoted private clientele and recognition by designers Bruce Oldfield and Katharine Hamnett. Knightsbridge shop opened in 1993.
