Caroline Charles

(Born 1942) Born in Egypt. Trained at Swindon Art School 1958-60. Apprenticed to Michael Sherard, then worked for Mary Quant. Launched her own label in 1963 providing stylish modern clothes for her customers including British and American pop stars. Opened Beauchamp Place retail outlet in 1977. Beautifully cut eminently wearable clothes executed in the finest fabrics.
