Catherine Walker

Born in France. Self-taught designer who began by making childrenswear and maternity clothes. In 1976, with her partner, she set up the Chelsea Design company. In 1992 she changed her label to Catherine Walker. A top British couturier famous for dressing the Princess of Wales and high society. Luxurious, elegant, discretely decorated and finely tailored clothing and evening dresses.
