David Shilling

(Born 1953) From the age of 12 designed the extravagant creations that his mother wore to Ascot each season. With no formal training but an eye for millinery he launched his own label in 1975 and opened his own shop in 1976. He continues to amaze with his inventiveness. Author of Thinking Rich - A personal guide to luxury living (London: Robson Books 1986).
