Gina Fratini

(Born 1931) Born in Japan came to England as a baby. From age 7 lived in Canada, Burma and India. Returned to school in England and trained at the London's Royal College of Art 1950-53. Costume designer for the Katherine Dunham Dance Company 1953-55. Freelanced for stage and films before launching own label in 1964. Romantic clothes sometimes with ethnic inspiration and speciality wedding dresses.
