Hussein Chalayan

(Born 1970) Trained St Martins School of Art 1989-93. Sold graduation collection to Browns. Briefly worked with tailor Timothy Everest, and launched own label he 1994. Renowned for innovative fabrics including photographically printed washable paper as well as unorthodox techniques such as burying textiles in his garden prior to use.
