Jacques Azagury

(Born 1956) Born in Morocco. Apprenticed lo a wholesale clothing company. Undertook two years study at the London College of Fashion and then transferred to St Martin s School of Art. Aged 20 introduced own label - survived only one year - but successfully relaunched in 1978. Specialises in glamorous evening clothes.
