John Boyd

(Born 1925) The doyen of London milliners. Served an apprenticeship at Aage Thaarup. Opened his business 1946 and caters for royal and society clientele. He created the tricorne hat to complement the Bellville Sassoon dress which the Princess of Wales wore as her going-away outfit.
