John Stephen

John Stephen worked for Moss Bros., then at Vince of Newburgh Street. In 1957 he opened own shop called His Clothes. Once this moved to Carnaby Street, its outrageous looks, cheap prices and fast turnover of styles were to instigate a turning-point in menswear fashion retailing.
