Kaffe Fassett

(Born 1937) Born in Canada, came to England early 1960s. Originally an artist but fell in love with yarns on a trip to Scotland with Bill Gibb and became an influential knitwear designer. Famous for his painterly designs, tapestry and fabrics and innovative blending of colours. Also worked for Bill Gibb and for the Italian knitwear company Missoni.
