Margaretha Ley

Swedish designer Margaretha Ley founded Escada with her husband in Germany in 1976. It started as a knitwear manufacturer and launched into colourful coordinates in wearable fabrics in later years. Ley's successor, Michael Stolzenburg has also added some younger elements to the collections.
