(Born l935)
Aged 15 took a basic pattern-cutting
course; then worked as an assistant cutter
for a couture company. In 1952 went to
work for Michael Sherard. Opened own
business in December 1954. Progressed
from making clothes solely for private
clients to selling wholesale. Cocktail and
evening dresses were a speciality. Closed
1992.
