Patrick Cox
(Born 1963)
Shoe Designer. Born in Edmonton, Canada. An early interest in British fashion brought Cox to train at Cordwainers College
1983-85. As a student designed shoes for
Vivienne Westwood Body Map and later for
John Galliano. His own collection
became available from 1987 and his fleur-delis
logo soon became recognized as a sign of
elegant fashionable and sometimes quirky
design and top-qualily workmanship. The
diffusion range Wannabe launched spring
summer 1995 has added to his international
commercial success.
