Simone Mirman

Art school trained, she worked for Schiaparelli in Paris. Came to London in 1947 and started a millinery business briefly working from an attic before opening her couture millinery outlet. Made hats for Princess Margaret from 1952 and the Queen and Queen Mother from the 1960s.
