As fashion plunders past decades for inspiration, the 40's and 50's are providing the very soft silhouettes for the coming summer. Veils, plumes, flowery garlands, tulle, feathers, sparkle and lace are all part of the highly decorated styles of the Kangol Milinary.

Traditional Parasisal, Visca, Ramie and Polyester are enlivened by a wealth of new shapes and colours, sparkle crepon, netting, silk flowers and luxurious satin. The principal innovation for the natural styles consists of introducing colour whilst keeping the rustic element of the various straws and fibres. Uniquely tinted bao, panama, jute and patterned hemp with handmade wooden fruit, rope and dried flowers, sequins and silky drapes are punctuated by the pure white of basket weaves.

The Collection Label
Under the Collection label are the new 'Glamour' satin models, emphasising the tendency toward smaller brims and brand new outlines translated into opulent fabrics.

The Anne-Marie Range
Colour is also a key element in Anne-Marie's collection with pastel laize, shot materials, extravagant feathers, oversized flowers on diminutive shapes, finished with veils, tulle and handcrafted pins.

Graham Smith At Kangol
Finally, the inimitable signature of Graham Smith culminates in an abundance of netting, ostrich plumes, ruffled tulle and a profusion of flowers and leaves, in soft hues of pink and beige, putting a positive emphasis on the utterly feminine mood.
