Original Sample
Initially a ladies' wear company, Original Sample design two collections
a year. 1991 saw the beginning of an accessory collection. This was a
fairisle pill hat which is still on sale today. In the summer of 1992 the
company launched their first menswear collection which was shown in Paris
at Sehm. The show proved to be so successful that Original Sample now
produce a menswear collection twice a year.
Current Acessories for Winter
Consists of chunky, textures, oversized beany heats in flecky, earthy
colours, mohair bobble hats and pull-ons. Traditional fairisle pill hats,
alpaca and angora bag hats. A collection of felted hats with fabric
inserts. Bright bell hats.
Summer
A large selection of cotton/linen fairisle hats in flecky, dull pastel
colours, fine gauge, short tassel hats and a classic range of
cotton/linen and denim. Denim rib beany and stripe short pull-ons.
